These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Hotdog mobile application and related services operated by Textintel FZE (the “Service”). By creating an account or using Hotdog, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Your use of Hotdog on iOS is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), except where these Terms are more protective of you.

On the Apple App Store we publish under the name Torapp.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Hotdog. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.
Hotdog is a dating service for adults. We may ask for date of birth during onboarding and may suspend or delete accounts we believe belong to minors.
Hotdog is a pet-owner dating app. Features include:
  • Creating a profile with human and pet photos, prompts, and personal details
  • Discovering other users near you and filtering by preferences
  • Sending likes (including comments) and matching
  • Messaging matched users
  • Optional Pack Verification
  • Optional paid subscriptions and consumable purchases (boosts, super likes)
We may change, add, or remove features. If a change materially reduces paid benefits you already purchased, we will handle it in line with store rules and Section 6.
The Service is provided on a temporary basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
You create an account with your phone number and a one-time SMS code. You must provide accurate information and keep your profile reasonably up to date.
You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your device and SMS inbox secure. Notify us at support+hotdog@tor.app if you believe your account was accessed without permission.
You may not create accounts for others, impersonate someone else, or maintain multiple accounts to evade bans, blocks, or limits.
You may delete your account in the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account, then confirm. You may also email support+hotdog@tor.app. Deletion handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
You agree not to:
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, scam, or exploit other users
  • Post illegal, pornographic involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, hate speech, or content that infringes others’ rights
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, or relationship to a pet in a material way
  • Use the Service if you are a convicted sex offender where prohibited by law
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-export profiles or content
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access non-public parts of the Service, except where mandatory law allows
  • Circumvent like limits, paywalls, bans, blocks, or safety systems
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated accounts
  • Interfere with the Service’s operation or security
  • Use Hotdog for commercial solicitation, spam, or recruiting without our written permission
We may remove content, limit features, suspend, or ban accounts that violate these rules.
Hotdog offers optional in-app purchases, including:
  • Subscription tiers (for example Premium / Premium Plus and related access levels shown in the paywall), which unlock features such as unlimited likes, seeing who likes you, additional filters, and higher-tier perks as described in the app at purchase time
  • Consumables such as boosts and super likes
Exact prices, durations, and benefit lists are shown in the App Store or Google Play purchase sheet and in-app paywall at the time of purchase. Those store screens control what you buy.
Payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive your full payment card details. Purchases are charged to your store account.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your store account settings:
Deleting your Hotdog account or the app does not by itself cancel a store subscription. Cancel in the store.
If a free trial is offered, its length and conversion to a paid subscription are shown before you confirm. After a trial, the paid subscription begins unless you cancel in time.
We or the store may change prices prospectively. Where required, you will receive notice and a chance to cancel before the new price applies.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot process store refunds directly. Request help through:

6.6 EU / UK digital content withdrawal#

If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content. By confirming a purchase and starting to use digital content immediately, you may be asked to consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the withdrawal right once performance begins, to the extent allowed by law. Mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived still apply. Store refund rules also apply.

7. Your content#

You keep ownership of the photos, prompt answers, like comments, chat messages, and other content you submit (“Your Content”).
You grant Textintel FZE a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute Your Content solely as needed to operate, improve, secure, and promote the Service (for example showing your profile to other users, delivering messages, and running Pack Verification). This license ends when Your Content is deleted from our systems, except for reasonable residual copies in backups during their ordinary rotation and content other users already received (for example messages in their inbox).
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit Your Content, that it is accurate in material respects, and that it does not violate law or these Terms.
We may remove or restrict content and accounts that violate these Terms or create safety risk.
You can Report and Block other users from Discover, Likes, Chat, and related screens. Reports may include reasons such as harassment or underage users. We also accept reports at support+hotdog@tor.app.
Blocking prevents further interaction between the accounts according to how the feature is implemented. Reporting does not guarantee a particular outcome, but we review safety reports we receive.
If you believe content on Hotdog infringes your copyright, email support+hotdog@tor.app with: your contact details, a description of the work, the location of the allegedly infringing material, and a statement made in good faith that you are authorized to act. We may remove content and, where appropriate, suspend repeat infringers.

8. Our content and license to you#

The Hotdog software, design, trademarks, and branding are owned by Textintel FZE or its licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, solely to use the Service as allowed by these Terms and the applicable store rules.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our software or branding, except as mandatory law allows.
The Service depends on third parties, including Supabase (auth and database), Twilio (SMS), Cloudflare, Google (Firebase, Maps, Cloud AI), Adapty (subscriptions), and Apple / Google (distribution and billing). Their terms and privacy policies govern their processing. Our Privacy Policy lists recipients in more detail.
Outbound links or shared app store links are not an endorsement of third-party services.
We may suspend the Service for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. We may discontinue Hotdog entirely. If we discontinue paid features, remaining subscription value is handled under store policies and applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that you will find a match, that profiles are accurate, or that Pack Verification eliminates all fake accounts.
Dating involves interacting with strangers. Use common sense. We are not responsible for the conduct of other users offline or online, except to the extent we cannot exclude liability under mandatory law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where such exclusion is forbidden).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Textintel FZE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for claims arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Hotdog purchases in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50, except where mandatory law requires a higher minimum.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and they do not limit mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
You will indemnify Textintel FZE against claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from Your Content or your unlawful use of the Service, to the extent permitted by law and except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create safety or legal risk, fail age checks, or if we shut down the Service. Where practical we will notify you.
On termination:
  • Your license to use the app ends
  • We handle your data under the Privacy Policy
  • Store subscriptions must be cancelled in the App Store or Google Play; unused subscription time follows store rules
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require another jurisdiction’s law.
Courts of the United Arab Emirates have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to the next paragraph.
If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you also keep the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
You and Textintel FZE acknowledge that:
  • Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms between you and us, except that Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you regarding your use of the iOS app
  • Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Hotdog
  • In the event of a failure of the app to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple or Google, and they may refund the purchase price of the app (if any) to the maximum extent permitted by law; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple and Google have no other warranty obligation
  • We, not Apple or Google, are responsible for addressing claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, and consumer protection claims
  • In the event of a third-party intellectual property claim relating to the app, we, not Apple or Google, are responsible for investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge as required
  • You represent that you are not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties
  • You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app
We may update these Terms by posting a new version at https://hotdog.dating/terms-and-conditions/ with a new effective date. Material changes may also be signaled in the app. If you continue using Hotdog after the effective date, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
  • If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect
  • Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver
  • You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a corporate transaction
  • These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about Hotdog
  • The English version controls if translations conflict
