Child Safety Standards — Hotdog

These Child Safety Standards set out Textintel FZE’s policies against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) for the Hotdog mobile application (iOS and Android) and related services at hotdog.dating (the “Service”).
On Google Play and the Apple App Store, Hotdog is published under the developer / publisher name associated with Textintel FZE (including Torapp where that name appears on the listing).
This document is the externally published resource intended to satisfy Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy requirement for a publicly accessible statement of standards against CSAE. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Hotdog is a dating app for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service.
Hotdog is not directed to children. We do not knowingly allow users under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
The presence or absence of child users does not change our prohibition of CSAE or child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Those practices are forbidden on the Service in all cases.
For these standards:
  • CSAE means child sexual abuse and exploitation, including content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child. This includes, for example, grooming a child for sexual exploitation, sextorting a child, trafficking a child for sex, or otherwise sexually exploiting a child.
  • CSAM means child sexual abuse material: any visual depiction — including photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery — involving a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
  • Child / minor means anyone under 18 years of age (or under the age of majority where that is higher under applicable law).
These definitions are aligned with the meanings used in Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy guidance.
Textintel FZE prohibits, and Hotdog users may not:
  • Create, upload, store, share, request, solicit, or distribute CSAM
  • Engage in CSAE, including grooming, sexual exploitation of a child, sextortion involving a child, or trafficking of a child for sex
  • Use Hotdog to contact, recruit, or exploit minors
  • Misrepresent age to access the Service as a minor, or to facilitate contact with minors
  • Post sexual content involving anyone who is, or appears to be, under 18
  • Assist others in any of the above
Violations may result in immediate content removal, account suspension or permanent ban, preservation of relevant records, and referral to law enforcement or other competent authorities where required or appropriate under applicable law.
We take the following steps to reduce CSAE risk on Hotdog:
  1. Adults-only eligibility — Users must confirm they are 18+; date of birth is collected during profile creation.
  2. Acceptable-use rules — Our Terms prohibit illegal content, sexual content involving minors, harassment, exploitation, and related misconduct.
  3. User controls — Users can Block other accounts to stop further interaction according to how the feature is implemented.
  4. In-app reporting — Users can Report other users from Discover, Likes, Chat / conversation, and related screens, including a dedicated reason for underage or minor reports, as well as inappropriate content, harassment, and someone in danger.
  5. Account action on underage use — If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will delete that account.
We may add, change, or strengthen technical and operational safeguards over time. These standards do not guarantee that every violation will be detected automatically.
Use the in-app Report flow and choose the reason that best fits, including:
  • Underage or minor
  • Inappropriate content
  • Harassment or misconduct
  • Someone is in danger
You can report from Discover, Likes, matched conversations, and related profile surfaces where Report is offered.

Please include, where available: the username or profile details of the account concerned, a description of what you saw, approximate dates, and any screenshots or other evidence you can lawfully share.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Hotdog’s report channels are not a substitute for emergency response.
Where required by applicable law, we will report CSAM or related offenses to the appropriate authorities. Users and third parties may also report CSAM directly to competent national authorities or recognized hotlines in their jurisdiction.
When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM or a credible report of CSAE or underage use on Hotdog, we take appropriate action consistent with these standards, our Terms, and applicable law. Depending on the facts, that may include:
  • Reviewing the report and related account or content data we have
  • Removing CSAM or other violating content when we obtain actual knowledge of it
  • Restricting, suspending, or permanently banning accounts
  • Deleting accounts that belong to minors
  • Preserving records as needed for safety, legal compliance, or law-enforcement requests
  • Notifying or cooperating with competent authorities where required or appropriate
We do not guarantee a particular outcome for every report. Priority is given to reports involving minors, CSAM, or imminent harm.
Textintel FZE complies with child-safety and CSAM laws applicable to the Service and to our operations. Nothing in these standards limits our obligation to obey those laws, respond to lawful process, or take action we believe is necessary to protect children or other users.
Jurisdiction-specific duties (for example mandatory reporting regimes) are reviewed with counsel as the Service’s distribution and operations require.

If there is a conflict between a general marketing statement and these standards on CSAE / CSAM, these standards and the Terms control.
We may update these Child Safety Standards from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we publish a material update. Continued use of Hotdog after an update does not require separate acceptance of this page, but use of the Service remains subject to the then-current Terms.
